Alma Mater

This is the place for photos of the school and the grounds.

2006 Building Interior

I created this gallery just for all the sad-looking building interior shots that Bill contributed. I was amazed at what bad shape the building is, and happy we've gotten these final glimpses.

2006 School Exterior and Grounds

Most of these images were taken during the October 2006 reunion. These may be the last photos we get to see before it's demolished.

Chapel Windows

These are photos of the stained glass windows from the Chapel.

Saint John Kanty Statue

Saint John Kanty Statue

From the card...

"This statue of Saint John Kanty stood above the main entrance of St. John Kanty Prep School in Erie, Pa. from the day of its dedication, September 2, 1912, until it was brought to St. John Cantius Parish in Philadelphia, Pa. on February 3, 1992, through the efforts of Msgr. Bernard E. Witkowski, Pastor of St. John Cantius and an Alumnus of Kanty's class of 1953. The expense of removing the statue and transporting it to Philadelphia was covered by the generosity of the Alumni.

"The statue is six feet, seven inches tall, made of Carrara marble, and weight [sic] 1800 pounds."
