Some Essentials for New Alumni Members

If you're an alumni, I've tried to be sure this site would serve the following purposes:

  • Serve as a central location for all alumni information.
  • Allow any individual to contribute stories or pictures.
  • Make it easy for alumni to contact one another.

Here are important things to know to make sure you get full benefit from the site:

  • Your email address is private. But, everybody has a contact form so people can contact you. For example, go to my account page for garywiz and you'll see that there is a "Contact" tab. In order for others to use this, you must ENABLE IT in your "my account" section.
  • Your "my account" page also contains a rather cryptic-looking link at the bottom to add your bio. Please add a Bio. These bios are the only way you will appear in the alumni listing.
  • If you sign up, you automatically have a blog. Whatever you write will appear on your blog and be featured on the main page. You can use your blog for any purpose you wish.

You can't hurt the site. Do what you wish, and let me know if you have any problems.

There are myriads of features I can "switch on" if people are interested. But, let's see what happens before I add anything which may confuse rather than help.
