About Me

Co-owner and GM of a regional roofing company with offices in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Kansas. My beautiful wife Wendy and I met while in college (she went to Gannon) and have been together over 20 years now. We have two great daughters, Lauren (1992) is a student at Austin Community College and Sydney (2005) begins kindergarten in the fall of 2011.

School Notes

Thouroughly enjoyed my time at Kanty - have kept in touch with many of my friend from back in those days. I (and I assume many others from the classes of 81, 82 & 83) would have preferred to do all four years at Kanty, but that was not to be. Those of you who were able to do so are fortunate. I'm sure the one incident I'll never forget was the time Terry Sorenson and I thought it was a good idea to play "discus" in the gym with 10 lb weights. When we cracked to floor on game day, Father Mitch was none too pleased to have to make emergency repairs. My only other regret was having been so small back in those days - eh Joey?. Thank god the body finally caught up with the feet. My father recently passed away and it meant a great deal to me that so many of my friends from Kanty came to the funeral home. Friends like that will never be forgotten.

Since Graduation...

After Kanty closed in 1980, I attended Strong Vincent HS - graduating in 1982. Following a four-year stint in the USAF, I graduated from Penn State in 1991 with a BS in Communications. Spent the next two years in the financial services industry in Virgina, Erie and Houston and the following four with the Huntsville, TX Chamber of Commerce. Moved to Austin, TX in 1998 to take a sales position with Owens Corning. Migrated to the residential and small commercial roofing business in 2003. Funny how things turn out isn't it - never could drive a nail straight and here I am in the roofing business......I still don't drive any nails.
