About Me

Gary HuminyGary HuminyI am happily married to my wife Diana for 15 years and I am co-founder and executive producer at Quest Media Entertainment. At Quest Media, I was responsible for account management, editing, producing, and shooting. In 1987, I graduated with a Broadcast Management degree from Kingsborough College.

As Editor and creator of "Rock-N-Review", a section in Kingsborough college's "Scepter" newspaper, I have managed to bring in various high-profile celebrities such as Ozzy Osbourne, Manowar, Genesis, Stacy Q, and many others. In 1988, I was recruited as the executive producer of a cable show called "Flashback". From 1992-95, as an assistant producer of a production company called "Vision Quest" I was in charge of infomercials, and commercial production and placement. A year later, I anchored and produced news segments on "Island View", where I met Mickey Burns. In 1994, Mickey and I joined together to build Quest Media Entertainment.

At Quest, I produced the cable shows "Special Edition" and "Profiles". In addition to my production experience, I have also directed several plays.

School Notes

I attended Kanty Prep from the year 1975 to 1976... I have no idea to this day why I left. It was a great vacation! Just to jog your memory, I used to help everyone else with their class projects before mine... The kid from Brooklyn. I used to leave Father Mitch's class all covered in chalk, the only two Latin words I learned was Aqua and Puella. I'll never forget Father Ed walking the dorm rooms at lesson time.

Since Graduation...

After leaving Kanty I ended up completing my education at Fort Hamilton High School, majoring in theater and then attending two years at Kingsborough Community College, where I majored in Broadcast Management and took up Directing. I joined the College Newspaper and became an Editor of my own section in the newspaper.
