About Me

Currently a sales rep. with Ameripac Industries, in Erie. I have been married for almost 23 years, with 2 daughters. I enjoy baseball/softball, and playing golf. I played city rec fastpitch for 6 years, and modified softball for another 11 years. I enjoyed coaching my daughters in softball and basketball. I still have the beer can collection that I began as a freshman, when a few of my Kanty baseball and golf teammates also collected them, and we tried to see who could accumulate the most. I have over 2500, and in 2008, put them on display, once again, when I finished part of our basement.

School Notes

While at Kanty, I played baseball, golf and bowling, winning our bowling league championship in 1978. I also participated in Kanty's open houses, for prospective students, each year.

Since Graduation...

After Kanty closed in May, 1980, after my junior year, I attended Mercyhurst Prep for my senior year, graduating in May, 1981. I graduated from Gannon University, in May, 1985, with a B.A. in Communications-English, with a Marketing emphasis. I have been in sales for 26 years, the last 13, with Ameripac Industries, an Erie packaging/shipping supply distributor. In September, 1988, I married the former Mary Jo Nies, and we have 2 daughters - Erin, 21, a senior at Kent State University, and Julie, 18, a freshman at Gannon University.
