About Me

Upon graduating Kanty, I attended Georgetown University, from where I matriculated in 1958 with a BSFS - BS in Foreign Service. I never did go into government service (glad I didn't)and through a very circuitous route, I ended up in the family bakery business in Philadlephia, where I stayed until 1988 when the business was liquidated.
Since 1992, my wife of 51 years and i have lived in Scottsdale, AZ. We have 6 kids and 7 grandkids scasttered throughout the West.


School Notes

Nothing out of the ordinary - Played football - Last of the Meat Grinders; Librarian (so I could get out of Study Hall) for several years; Class Secretary for 4 years; Worked on the 1954 yearbook; Called Stuts a "dumb ass" to his face and got away with it, though he did give an "F" for deportment on the final report card; Plus all the other things we all tried - smoking, thinking about Zielinski's daughters, smoking, trips to the Gorge, smoking, trying to pick up girls at the Sugar Bowl, smoking - well you remember.

Since Graduation...

Since college graduation I have, with my wife, put 4 kids through college; TRAVELED throughtout the USA, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Europe (England, Poland, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Germany, The Netherlands and Belgium) The Far East (Japan, Singapore, Tahiti and even backpacked the New Teritories in Honk Kong; CLIMBED Mt. Washington; LEARNED TO FLY a plane; Became A BALLOON PILOT; RAFTED the Colorado River; HIKED the Grand Canyon and various National Parks numerous times; Became a PUBLISHED AUTHOR ("It's Likely your Grandkids will be Poor, Unless..." at Amazon.com or www.MoneySmartGrandkids.com; SKIED in various parts of the country; FISHED for Blue Fish in the Atlantic, Snapper and Grouper in the Gulf of Mexico and Marlin in the Sea of Cortez; BICYCLED ACROSS THE USA via Canada; Have become an award winning PHILATELIC EXHIBITOR and AUTHOR (www.PolishPhilatelicLiterature.com); TREKKED the Ancient Inca Trail in Peru; and at the present am STUDYING Tai Chi with Lorraine.
